WE SUFFERED A TERRIBLE AND DEVASTATING FIRE IN OUR SOCIAL CENTER IN GRANADA, NICARAGUA.
In the early morning of January 2, 2020, we suffered a terrible and devastating fire in our Social Center in Granada, Nicaragua. We don’t have to regret personal damages, but the material damages are enormous and our future is in danger. For this we have created a campaign in gofoundme.com to raise funds that can help us in these very complicated moments
Half of the center was razed and the structure of the building damaged. The rooms and belongings of the members of the Social Center were burned, who lost all their personal belongings.
This fire comes at the worst of times. After a long economic crisis in the country, our resources decreased to the limit, so we have no means to deal with this situation. The reconstruction of the Center will be very expensive and we need your help to get ahead.

THE MONEY WE COLLECT WE WILL USE IT TO:
Rent a house to give everyone a roof during the time the reconstruction work lasts.

Everything we collect will be entirely intended to cover the needs described, but the list does not end here:
- Develop a reconstruction project of the center
- Repair damage to beams, ceilings, etc.
- Paint all walls
- Rebuild the toilets of the Café de las Smrisas
- Redo the entire electrical installation.
In case of exceeding the collection objective, the excess money will be used to finance the work of the center.
Although we are in a critical moment, we are very excited at the response received by the people of Granada and friends from the center. We do not stop, we continue in the fight to get a better world, even with more energy than before.

With headquarters in Granada (Nicaragua), we are dedicated to carrying out work insertion and social care projects for the most disadvantaged, especially for people with disabilities.
